PIAVE - Security of the people and the goods, the infrastructures and the networks

 

Context and challenges

Within the framework of the action “Industrial projects with a future” (PIAVE) of the investment Plan with a future, the call for projects set of themes “Security of the people and goods, infrastructures and networks” comes to be launched. It is open until January 17th, 2017 to 12 noon (midday).

This call for projects aims at supporting the development of products, services and solutions innovating in the field of the security of the goods, the infrastructures and the people.

The projects, collaboratifs, are based on an innovation, that it is technological or not. These expected projects are of two types: technological pilot project or collaboratif project of R & D (cf below). Their realization can comprise phases of industrial research and phases of experimental development, even of industrialisation for SME, preconditions to the marketing of the innovating solution.

Typology of the expected projects

2 types of projects are expected:

  1. Pilot projects in one of the following fields:
  • digital identity;
  • security of the smart city;
  • protection of the open and multimode places;
  • platform for the protection of the critical infrastructures standard Seveso;
  • cybersecurity of the industrial systems.

They are open projects of scale, federators of the actors of the sector who are characterized in particular by a high technological maturity (TRL at the end of the project equal to or higher than 7) and a plate of eligible expenditure of at least 10 million euros.

  1. Collaboratifs projects of R & D in the following fields:
  • cybersecurity of the industrial systems;
  • maritime security;
  • Big dated from the security;
  • security of the critical infrastructures standard Seveso.

These collaboratifs projects of R & D are characterized in particular by an intermediate technological maturity (TRL at the end of the project equal to or higher than 6) and a plate of eligible expenditure of at least 3 million euros.

In both cases, the projects must present major prospects in terms for market on at least one for the macro-segments identified within the framework for the study carried out on the sector in 2015

Methods of financing

The selected projects will be helped in a mixed way of subsidies and refundable advances with return to the State in the event of big hit.

The rates of financing maximum depend on the type of expenditure:

  • expenditure of R & D:

- 60% for the small companies (EP) with the Community direction;
- 50% for the medium businesses (ME) with the Community direction;
- 40% for the other companies;

For the establishments of research concerned with the public sphere or mainly financed by public funds, the rate of financing is of 100% from the marginal costs or 40% of the complete costs.
 

  • expenditure of industrialisation:

- 30% for the small companies (EP) with the Community direction;
- 20% for the medium businesses (ME) with the Community direction;
